I purchased a pair of fur boots from this business and was under the impression that I would receive my order before the date I needed them for a specific event based on their FAQs stating shipping times that fit within my deadline. The boots not only arrived 6 days past the date I needed them.
But when they arrived they also didn’t fit me.
And they did not look like the picture that was listed on the website.
And I paid $250 for the shoes when they clearly did not reflect that price.
I asked for a refund from the owner because she was emailing me from her personal email. She said she doesn’t issue refunds and only does exchanges or store credit. Which I would be okay with if the $250 reflected in the quality of the shoes. Or if I was interested in ANYTHING else on the website, but I wasn’t. Because of my initial experience and my only reason for purchasing ANYTHING, was out of desperation to find boots that matched the picture on the listing.
I told her “i’m not interested in an exchange or credit. I’d please just like my refund.” she responded saying “that’s just our policy” and I sent her a screenshot of her policy that clearly stated “Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, We will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.”
So I then proceeded to ask her, “I see that your policy says that refunds (if applicable) are a thing. So how does my order not qualify for a refund when
    1. They arrived WELL past the date I needed them.
    2. They don’t fit.
    3. They don’t look worth $250
and 4. They don’t match the listing?

And she stopped responding to me, and still hasn’t responded even after my attempt to follow up with her.
