I scheduled and appointment. When I set up the appointment they said they would call the morning of the appointment before heading my way. No specific time was given. I had to step out. They did not call until they arrived. They are charging me because I was not there. When I made the appointment they never discussed the terms. I did not sign a contract and I was not told they would be billing me whether or not they did the work. Just to reiterate they did not call first the morning of like I was told to let me know a time they would be arriving. They did not make me aware of their terms and conditions. I would just like them to cancel this bill they are trying to charge me.

Attached is the transcribed calls between Aey Electric and Mr. ******** It can be seen that the appointment was verified the day before the electrician was sent. It also can be seen that Mr. ******* called back, once he did not show up, to apologize because of an emergency and an employee being late. We charge a minimum trip fee for commercial of $85. Mr. ******* did not cancel prior to the electrician being sent. The full recording can be sent but this format will not accept mp3 files.

    Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me. I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.

Hi, One of the owners left me a message and I guess I am happy with the call back and I will not pursue this any further. Thank you for your help. I am sending them a letter with the payment. I'd like you to have a copy of the letter also. April 16, 2025 Dear ****** Aey, I appreciated the call. When I spoke with your secretary about the invoice, she said she would have to speak to a supervisor about it. I asked for a call back. I guess I got impatient and went with the BBB route when I had not received a call back. Im sure if your old enough, you may have missed appointments or something similar and maybe received a forgiveness for the first offense. Eighty-five dollars for no service is a hard pill to swallow, for me. I understand all you said about your electrician charging you for travel. If I was told about your terms that pill would have been a lot easier to swallow. Im just a little guy trying to make a buck. So, in the future maybe you should have your answering service let folks know We charge by the hour and if no one is there you will still be billed. Something to that effect. Just my opinion but of course you do what you want. I have enclosed a check for your invoice. Just one more thing. I just received your notice from the BBB. I do not want to go on with this. I guess I am just happy with the returned call. However, to my knowledge, it is not legal to tape someone without their consent. Im not certain but you may want to investigate that. Good luck to you and I hold no ill will and I hope you dont either. Sincerely, *** *******

    Sent from ****** ******* (**********************************************************************)

    Regards,
