    I obtained homeowners insurance through farmers insurance in September 2024. The policy was canceled by them October 7th 2024. Because it was within 45 days, I am entitled to a refund of ******* which is the amount that was paid to them by my mortgage company. It's has been over 2 months and I still don't have it. **************** told me it is not normal for it to take this long. I should have gotten it within 7-10 business days. Anytime I call the agent to inquire about it, he tells me "it's processing". My escrow on my mortgage is negative now and I am paying over $350 extra on my mortgage because of this. I just want the money back to put back into my escrow so my monthly payment can go back down. Farmers insurance **************** cannot even locate my policy to even tell me any information. They say it appears the agent is the only one who can give me updates on my refund status because they can't even locate the policy. It's almost as it it never even existed. I do have the declarations page to show proff of the policy. I don't know where the ******* is or how else to get an update on it. The agent hasn't returned my calls. His secretary always says she will pass the message along and then I never hear back. I don't know what else to do at this point. How do I get my refund?
