Mike, a surveyor from Drescher & Associates did a survey on my property (14.9 acres) and came to set the pins on July 7, 2023. However he did not set the corner pins on back side of my property which is down over steep hill. I told him several times that there’s a road going up the valley to the back of the property that he can drive his truck right to where he needs to set the pins. I called them back again today and Warren Drescher, surveyor, screamed at me telling me that he set a pin at the top of the hill but that doesn’t help me one bit. He said he isn’t going to climb over that big hill. I told him again that he can drive his truck up the valley and it’ll take him to where the corner pins can be set. He screamed at me again and said for another $925 he might do it then slammed the phone down and hung up on me. On July 7, 2023 I had paid him for the survey $2,750 as agreed. I’m selling my property and needed the survey. I told the buyer the surveyor didn’t place the back corner pins. He wants those pins set also. After all I had paid Drescher & Associates for the survey and they refused to set the two back corner pins.
I want the back corner pins set by them without paying any additional money as I had already paid them for the survey to set all of the pins for my property. The way I see it is that they did not finish their job they were paid to do. They were aware of the steep hill when they agreed to do the survey and gave me their quote.
