    On 5-28-24 I spoke to a representative from Iron Eagle about getting my asphalt drive resurfaced. I asked how were they going to match the existing elevation of the concrete floor in my garage. I was told that a keyway would be cut in front of the garage and that they would check they grade with a level to make sure it was sloped away from the garage. This did not happen, the asphalt drive is now over 2 inches higher than my garage floor and water now goes into the garage when it rains. The really bad section is along side my house. Instead of the asphalt sloping way from my house it slopes towards it and now when it rains my the water flows in so hard that my basement floor drain has a hard time keeping up. The work on the drive was done on 6-4-24. After the first rain we had and I saw the water in my garage and basement I contacted the company. The same representative that I spoke to about getting the drive resurfaced came out on 6-11-24 to look at it. When I showed him the problem with the asphalt at the garage he said he did not know why they did it that way. I then took him to the side of my house and ran water so that he could see that it was going into the basement. He took some pictures and left and have not heard them since. I paid $5,710.00 to have this work done and I want this problem with my basement corrected before I have a more serious problem with my basement walls or foundation.
