We pay an HOA fee of $290 a month. Our backyard has been damaged multiple times by the vendor that does the landscaping. We have complained multiple times. We have sent pictures to our HOA several times. The landscaping company actually got their lawnmower stuck in our yard and they had to tow it out. This created a large hole. This hole floods every time it rains. They threw hay and grass seed on it. That washed away quickly. We were told the yard is fixed. Its not. Now the landscapers damaged the middle of our yard. We sent pictures to the **** We were told to stop sending pictures because the yard is fixed and nothing more will be done. Two hundred and ninety dollars a month! We cannot even sit outside on our patio. We will be filing against the landscaping company as soon as we get their information. We are not allowed to talk to any board members in the neighborhood. We need this issue resolved. Try to upload photos but website says its too big

Thank you for taking the time to write to us regarding your landscaping concerns.  We are sorry to hear that the attempts to remedy your concerns have fallen short of your expectations. Our Community Management Team works closely with your elected Board Members to seek solutions to these types of issues, and we often rely on the opinions of experts in their fields to guide us towards the best possible outcome for our clients and their properties. It's been explained to us by multiple experts in the field of landscaping and drainage that the landscaping behind your unit was designed with specific intention. In fact, the nine or ten condominium units along the southern border of your association, which includes your condo, share a very unique feature behind their units.  The "back lawns" are very narrow along the border, maybe only 15 feet wide, and they are framed in with a tall mound that is designed to act like a gutter and funnel the water to the southeast corner of the property, where there is a retention area.  That natural gutter that the landscaping creates takes on a lot of water when it rains and stays wet for a very long time, making it very difficult for landscaping companies to cut in those areas.  Unfortunately, we have been told that we cannot change the water runoff design that the original builder created and was approved by the county.  I certainly sympathize with your concerns and promise to continue to consider any and all possible solutions with your Board of Directors.  We would certainly welcome any suggestions you may have to combat the lingering dampness in the area behind your condo.

I have pulled all of our correspondence with you, the last one being on November 8, 2024, and would be happy to go through them with you in order to identify any requests from you that have not been addressed.  You have our contact information, and I would invite you to give me a call or stop by our offices when you have some spare time.  If you call ahead, I can be sure to set time aside for you.  Thank you for your message and I hope to hear from you soon.

The business is trying to collect money from me that was due by the previous owner of my condo that they never collected. They seem to have never known that the condo was for sale (how do you manage a condo and have no idea that it is on sale for MONTHS?). Now, they are going hard at me to collect these funds when it had nothing to do with me. I bought the condo in September of last year, the tenant went 9 months without paying any HOA fees, but as soon as I move in, they are demanding this money. They have even threatened to put a lean on my house and possibly foreclose on my home. Again, for fees that aren't mine. I have paid on time every single month since I've been here. As a first time home buyer, I have never heard of such nonsense like this. I want them to leave me alone and go after the rightful owners of the debt that THEY never tried that hard to collect.

Thanks for reaching out with your concerns.  Our office has been in contact with the owner and responded to each one of her questions regarding this matter.  In short, our company is not a collection agency and has no authority to pursue the debt owed.  We are contracted by the community, with which the unit owner purchased a condo in, to assist their ***** with basic accounting functions, property maintenance, and administrative functions.  ************** has a ***** of ********* that decides how to pursue collection actions.  The ***** is elected each year from the members that own units in the community.  Once the ***** decides to pursue a debt, the law firm that represents the community is contacted and the law firm pursues the collection action requested by the *****.  In most cases the attorney's guide the ***** as to what action is appropriate and the ***** then must vote to approve the action that the attorneys recommended.  Either way, my company is not involved in the decision, other than keeping track of the debt owed.  I won't get into the legal responsibility of the unit owner (past and present), their realtor, their mortgage company, or their title company, but this owner has been advised to address their concerns with the *****, The realtor, the mortgage company, and the title company.  She was also advised to seek legal advice if she feels she is being wrongfully charged this debt.  Unfortunately, our company has no authority in this matter and cannot resolve her issue.  She will have to communicate with one of these other companies for resolution.
