    In October of 2021, Italiano Construction put a new roof on my house. They took off my gutter guards to install the roof but left that day without reinstalling them. **** ******, the salesman, said they would put them back on another day. They never returned. Every summer since then I have called several times to get them to come back and **** tells me they are going to but they never show up.

    I have reviewed the offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of my decision appear below

    1) have called several times since 2021 every summer and they always say they are coming but never show up. Last time was right before Labor Day last year which he promised he would send guys over and never did.

    2)the gutter guards were only a couple of years old. We have only lived there since 11/2011.

    3)If I said no to new gutter guards on the day of roof install were they going to make me come out of the house and clean them before reinstalling? How ridiculous! You take something off a house during install you are required to put them back on.

    4)I have no son.

    5)This vendor approached me about putting in a new roof on by examining my roof for damage I had no idea was there and them submitting to my insurance.

    6)Never said I didn't want to pay deductible but did tell you to put my gutter guards back on.

    7)I told you that the gutter guards were in the backyard so that they are easily accessible to your crew. Since you haven't been back to my house since 2021, how do you know if they are cleaned or not? I never told you about their cleanliness so you wouldn't know.

    I *** Italiano owner of the company would have no problem coming out cleaning your gutters and reinstalling your gutter guards either this week or next.  I thought **** said your *** maybe it was your nephew was gonna clean them thats all we were just trying to have them washed so they worked properly thats all but I can definitely come out and reinstall them by 5/23/25

    Had Italino Const. install a Roof approx. 5 years ago, had a issue on the Garage Roof with the Shingles granules coming off it took Months for them to come and repair it, called them earlier this year approx. February because our Porch Roof was leaking took a couple Days to respond was told its almost out of its 5 year warranty but they would come and repair the area, to this day 11/4/22 I have not heard a word from them and its been leaking every time it rains, so I contacted a Local Roofer to replace the Porch Roof with Metal at a Cost of $ ****** out of my Pocket, that I should have not had to pay. Italino Const. has extremely bad **************** will never recommend to anyone.

    Im sorry I didnt see your message about that last complaint, Im gonna contact the homeowner and talk with him to solve the problem, hes been out of warranty but since he had someone alter my work Im not gonna be able to touch that work do to that contractor warranty, maybe I can offer him a little compensation of his out of pocket cost , I will let the BBB know after I solve the problem, thank you  *** Italiano
