      Had roof installed in October 2013, began leaking a year ago. Had shingles inspected by manufacturer it was not shingles but installation according to manufacturer. Contractor does not return messages. Damage to interior of house.

      Dear Customer,
      In response to your complaint, we regret that you have had an issue with your roof. We did install a new roof at your residence in 2013. After completion, you were satisfied with our work and in 2016, later hired us for a home addition project. In the 9 years since we installed the roof, we have had no communication or complaints from you, including mention of the leak. Had you made us aware of this issue we could have inspected the problem for cause. Any number of reasons could cause a roof to leak including inclement weather. The first communication we received from you regarding your roof issue was on September 9th, 2022 through a text message. We promptly responded to you the next morning that we would be happy to inspect the roof at no charge. We have not had any response from you as of now. While we strive for quality work and satisfied customers, after almost 10 years since our work was completed, we cannot guarantee your roof at this point. As I stated before, without having the opportunity to inspect the roof at the onset of the leak and further, you allowing the issue to accumulate, there is no way to determine the cause.
