To Whom this may concern, including the Better Business Bureau; and Genesis Health Care System

On December 24, 2024, Ms. ***** ******* and I (*** ******* ***** **** visited the Genesis Healthcare system with the direct intention to ask about basic information on how to submit client-patients (or ourselves) to the emergency room, in case it was necessary for the future.

We did not visit the Genesis Healthcare System to receive treatment. We visited Genesis Healthcare System upon finding out basic information. In other words we visited for informational purposes only.

I am a multi-board certified doctor, and have attained multiple board certifications with the American Naturopathic Medical Association. I have the equivalent of seven (7x) degrees in health and medicine, including three doctorates. I also have an MBA concentration in health care management.

Upon visiting the Genesis Healthcare System for information purposes only, it was directly stated that we were not there to receive any treatment. There seemed to be a lot of incoherence, miscommunication, and negligence with handling our visiting only request.

During out tour of the hospital we were taken to some unknown area where we could ask questions. We asked about potential scenarios on how to inform client-patients (of ours) in regard to sending anyone to the emergency room if needed (in the future). There seemed to be a lot of confusion. My questions were not readily being answered. Then all of a sudden nurse employee reached over and strapped a wristband on me and ask me to sign some digital pad. I had to confront this nurse by replying again that we were not there for treatment; and I was not going to sign anything. I declined. I directly told the nurse that the random wristband should not have been forcibly placed on my wrist without knowing what she was doing in the first place. She obviously did not know what she was doing. The nurse then seemed like she was confused and had no idea what she doing. She seemed very robotic and incoherent.

Continued—I confronted the nurse and asked why she was asking us to sign a digital pad without even showing us what was attempted to contracted. We were not there to sign anything. The entire experience seemed negligent, unethical, and borderline criminal to get someone to sign a hidden contract. Again, we did not sign anything and demanded that the wristband be cut off my wrist; and mentioned again that we were not seeking treatment. The nurse directed us to another area and told us we could get the wristband cutoff at another desk.

Ms. ***** ******* and I did not have our questions answered. It seemed we were rather a part of what seemed like a scam to create a bill for us. Genesis Healthcare System did create a bill in my name which was not ever mentioned to be happening to us in the first place. Genesis Healthcare never mentioned that we were going to be charged for simply visiting for basic informational purposes only; while not seeking treatment.

Genesis Healthcare System has sent a fraudulent bill in my (******* *****) name at a cost of $167.21.

Genesis Health System never discussed nor mentioned charging us to visit for non-treatment; and for informational purposes only.

Genesis Healthcare System (as we now know) attempts to have potential patients (and non-patients) sign contracts upon a digital pad while hiding the contract. Genesis Health system can labeled as participating in fraud for how these medical fees were manifested.

With our experience (Ms. ***** ******* and I, Dr. ******* *****) we believe that the Genesis Healthcare System acts upon unethical and civil violations; and borderline fraud (or acting severely incoherent) in the way they deceive and trick people (patients and non-patients) that create medical bills.

At this point, I demand Genesis Healthcare System take the fraudulent medical bill out of my name and halt the unethical practices of the hospital—and the emergency area billing conduct.

Just the fact that we wouldn’t sign the hidden contract, nor any contract for the hospital proves the information in this letter is true and valid. We also walked-in and walked-out with no emergency concern for treatment. No medical bill in my name should have ever ben produced.

      Standing by,

      Dr. ******* ***** ***,
CNHP, MBA, BCDNM, BCDHHF, ND, PhD
