      Followed procedure for canceling service and they keep charging my account. Numerous emails, calls, and procedures followed.You almost need a legal company to keep them from scamming you, The services were a complete waste on top, so no wonder they make it impossible to cancel service.

      Requested legal assistance for legal advice which turned into an eviction matter. I had been speaking with appointed attorney for about a week prior and in anticipation for upcoming court date for eviction hearing. Literally <20 hours before court date was told I wasn't eligible/covered for covered legal representation due to it was considered "pre existing" and they also could NOT even refer me to another attorney (at a discounted rate of 25%) because my court hearing was <24 hours. So how do they expect me to find a attorney myself in such a short time? When I questioned how or why it was determined to be a "pre existing" legal issue, I was told numerous contradicting reasons. The most recent, told by a member resolution manager, its considered pre existing because I signed my apartment lease agreement in Sept 2022 and my eviction (received on 12/9/2022) doesn't start from date received summons but effective from signing of my lease agreement! Legalshield really screwed me and now facing being homeless because I believed and trusted them!

      I have been contacted by a LegalShield associate for some time now to see if I am interested in a position with them. After several unsuccessful attempts to connect, I figured I was being scammed. I replied that I suspected it to be spam and requested to be removed from the email list. The nasty, unprofessional emails I received in reply to my initial email have been ghastly and awful. I understand that these are **********************, but LegalShield should hold them responsible. ************************************** is an embarrassment to the company and any clients she liaises with. My view of LegalShield is tarnished to an unprecedented degree. If LegalShield does not take repercussions, then I will take this matter more publicly. I will supply the email correspondence to the company upon request.

      i am a member of legal shield. I contacted legal shield on 10-26-2022 concerning two issues one was an overpayment from social security the other was to recoup money that i had given to social security concerning money i had given to social security advisors to help with my overpayment problem with social security when i realized that social security advisors would not represent me in helping me with my social security issue I realized that i was giving money to them to do absolutely nothing. I was somewhat surprised that legal shield would not represent me the social security issue since legal shield had been advertising on face book that they would assist people if they had irs problems i could not understand how they could advertise to help people with the irs but refuse to help people with social security issues. I procedure to file a reconsideration on my own since legal shield would not assist me the reason is that i had asked legal shield to send a demand letter to social security advisors to recoup my ****** ******************************* said she would the last time i heard from her was Nov. 14 2022 I sent her an email on nov 22 2022 she to date has not responded. My contract with legal shield states that they will help with legal help when needed they are supposed to respond within 3 business days it has been over 3 weeks and no assistance has been forthcoming from them I am trying to resolve this issue. If it cannot be resolved through the bbb my next complaint will be with the ardc and the attroney general of ******** My membership number is *********** the two cases numbers are il-A57-2X6 and **-WCY-ZBP

      *********************** i have contacted the provider firm before i filed a complaint with the bbb i received no response i will contact the provider firm again via email if they do not respond i will explore my other options  i reject the business's response because it is asking that i contact the provider firm when  in fact they should have contacted me within 3 days as per our contract  the business's response is total garbage and does not address the issues raised in my  complaint if the provider firm doesn't properly respond to me i will file a complaint with the A R D C

      As i previously said I have had no emails from the law firm i will just file a complaint with the ardc i have checked my emails and also checked my spam folder this is so crazy if they sent me anything at all and i had not responded the most sensible thing for the law firm to have done was to resend it instead after me sending 2 emails saying I have not received anything they persist with saying they sent emails that were never received they are taking money and doing NOTHING TO EARN IT AND THEN LYING ABOUT WHAT  THEY CLAIM THEY ARE DOING

      I've been a client for 20 years. This company has been double charging me without my knowledge. One of the associates convinced me that Legal Shield plan is better than the Primerica plan and I ended up getting that, but because my Social Security # was misspelled in the original membership it didn't come up as a red flag. Now Legal Shield is refusing to refund me $475 which they owe me for double dipping. They initially told me that they. can give me a $475 credit to be applied toward my future membership payments and then turned around and said that the only thing they will do is refund me $50 out of $475 they owe me. I need my full $475 back ASAP.

      I became a member of LegalShield 4 months I paid them almost $400 to attorneys too handle my case they did not handle it the only thing they did is wrote a letter to the contract who mass up ******* all this time I thought they were going to handle my case for me but they didn't 4 months all that time I thought they was investigating my case now they dropped it

      I am sick and tired of making a legal request over and over again and Legal Shield either not responding in a timely matter or their customer service when contact them can't find the information or can't listen well enough to get all the required information correctly to allocat the apropriate Lawyer for our case.Today I spoke to ***** who I contacted as I missed a call from a Lawyer or representative regarding my case from the day before. After providing my required information membership number and other information I could not speak three words to ***** to clarify the information I provided as she kept interrupting me and I ask let's start again and again she talked over me. I told her that's ok I need to talk to someone else as I could not communicate with her with confidence that she would get it right. About thirty minutes later she again called and I immediately asked for a Supervisor with the hopes of getting my problem resolved only to find out she was the supervisor. So I am at the edge of canceling this service that my wife and I pay for and we can't get the professional help that we need.I would like some compensation or apology for this headache that has been repeated with other past cases that we have opened with Legal Shield.kj kj

      Initially contacted my local firm on 7 November regarding:GA-KAM-TXR (which has a 2 December DEADLINE with the local courthouse)GA-M75-CV5 I contacted the ** "complaint" department at LegalShield ***************) on 15 November requesting assistance with the two above cases, as my contract states I will receive assistance within four hours, or three business days if the case needs referred out. By 15 November over FIVE business days had passed since I requested assistance from my local firm.I reached out to LegalShield ** several times on ***** November, only to be told the same thing over and over, "we're looking into it and will get back to you." I expressed my concern regarding the 2 December DEADLINE for the case I have currently. To date (21 November), I still have not received any assistance. A firm reached out to me today and quoted me a $100 charge for a consultation, however, according to my LegalShield contract my initial consultations are FREE, and the attorney writing one letter is also included in the contract. This comes across as fraud- to advertise one thing, then begin charging an astronomical fee. I once again reached out to the LegalShield ** today, and was told eight times, "we are looking into it and will contact you when we have information." I once again expressed my concern regarding the 2 December deadline, and like a broken record the rude receptionist repeated again, "we are looking into it and will contact you when we have information." Bottomline- the company advertises legal help within four business hours, or if the case has to be referred three business days, and I initially called about these cases on 7 November.

      I am rejecting this response because:

      Unfortunately the employee who wrote the response is sadly out of the loop or blatantly lying.
      I was given one option as an attorney (Taga).  When I called ************, I was on the phone with him for almost 30 minutes, because he is so slow in communicating.  He was unable to address over half of my concerns and/or questions, and was NOT at all familiar with judgements or money collection.  I reported this incident to Legal Shield and requested not to be referred to him again.  I'm honestly embarrassed for ************ AND LegalShield that they would partner with this type of an attorney.  
      I have NEVER denied using an attorney due to fees, as the employee stated (LYING) in the response letter.
      The next attorney they referred me to was *********************.  In previously working with ************, he told me I would be better off hiring someone who is familiar with collecting on judgements, as he is familiar with obtaining the judgement, but does not have experience with attempting to collect debts from a person.  
      I also reported this back to LegalShield.  I don't know why LegalShield would lie and say I refused an attorney due to fees ?!??
      I also don't know why LegalShield would refer me to an attorney who states they don't have experience with the type of case I am seeking help with ???

      LegalShield, please stop lying and provide the services in my contract.

      In addition, I am seeking one month reimbursement for the services NOT provided, and NOT provided at all in a timely manner.

      I purchased Legalshield on approximately 12/1/21 of last year and this means that I have until 12/1/22 to cancel before I will be charged again. I have checked my bank account and on 11/18/22 Legalshield put a hold on my money in my account and as of this morning 11/21/22 withdrawal the funds out of my account. They have NO right to go in my account before there supposed to. I sent an email on 11/19/22 to cancel my membership ASAP and cancel ACH but they didn't do this. This lets me know that this company is just like many dishonest and lack integrity. Let alone there services were not good at all. I want my money return ASAP and this company needs to fined and or discipline for illegal going into my bank before time. I will never be a customer again this is not right at all. It's sad that this company would even go to this type of measure. Customers make a company and you have definitely lost me as one.
