    I was called up and asked by a painter who is employed by Turners welding if I would be interested in sandblasting for them. He asked me how much it would take for me to start the job the very next day? **** my boyfriend was beside me and with the speaker phone on so that everyone present could hear were agreed on 18$. I worked there for a week and Memorial Day happened to be the last day I worked. Again I worked that federal holiday under the impression it would be double time. They were told by another employee that I was a bad choice for the job. They fired me the next day! When I pick up my check on June 5 I looked over my pay stub to see where they only paid me 12$ and there was no holiday pay at all! When I called the office and asked about the holiday pay I was told they dont participate in paying holiday pay.Plus the fact that I was let go for no reason other than another employees opinion of me does not fit into the business practices that Ive grown up in! All the way around the board this company wronged me!I want justice and fairness and for this matter to be resolved with fairness and in a timely manner.
