On May 1st, 2024, Hood CPAs sent us a surprise invoice for $471. Upon inquiry, the firm's AR Supervisor sent an email that said, "I do apologize for the billing. It looks like it was non billable charges, so I have gone in and adjusted those off. Attached is a copy of your statement after the adjustments." That statement is adjusted down to $0. It is also important to note that we did not engage Hood CPAs for any work in 2024. And we did not receive any other invoice from them after the erroneous one mentioned above. Fast forward to January 21, 2025, we received an email from *********** saying we owe Hood CPAs $224.I have all of this documentation so am glad to provide anything that is helpful. While I have written Hood CPAs about this serious issue and have asked that they rectify it, I am also formally lodging this complaint regarding Hood CPAs unethical behavior with the Better Business Bureau since I would like a case number with your organization that I can reference to Hood CPAs in any further communication with them.Thank You!

ProCare CRS, **** utilized ******** until 06/2023. In 6/2023 ProCare corresponded with Hood, in email and telephone conversations to terminate service. ProCare received communication that there was no balance due. To date, ProCare has continued to get invoiced for monthly services, and past due balances. ProCare has called Hood, about the mistake, has emailed about the mistake. Today, although no services have been provided by Hood since 06/2023, we received an invoice for services rendered in 2024.

      Good morning, **********,

I hope that you are well and thank you for bringing this issue to us. You honor us when letting us know where we have fallen short. It is our goal at the firm to provide to the best level of care and client experience to all who put their trust in us and we will use this to do better.

I can see and confirm that you requested to disengage in June of 2023 yet invoices kept generating. It looks like you were on a monthly recurring engagement and because of that, our system automates the creation of invoices every month. From what I can tell, there was some miscommunication internally and that recurrence was not shut off. I will correspond with our ****************** and have this fixed for you and the invoices generated post-disengagement removed.

I apologize for the inconvenience of this and again thank you for bringing this to the surface. Should you need anything else in the meantime, please don't hesitate to contact me.

      Regards,

      ***************** - VP of ******************* ********* Advisor
