    Business was negligent in their practice and created a situation that cost me an additional $1077.89 in veterinary costs as a result of that negligence.This was thoroughly outlined in two separate letters mailed to the business in December. The business has been non-responsive.

         Thank you for letting us know about this complaint and allowing us to share our side of the story with you. Mr. **** brought his cat Cranky in for orthopedic pain. Cranky was prescribed *********, an NSAID medication commonly used for orthopedic pain in cats. The written instructions clearly state to administer 0.2mL by mouth every 24 hours for 10 days. The prescription was written for the appropriate patient, for the appropriate dose, for the appropriate frequency, and for the appropriate duration. Mr. **** had then informed us that he administered the 20-pound dose, which was not the dose that we had prescribed or instructed him to give based on the prescription label. Based on the fact that he did not follow our instructions on how to properly use the medication, we do not feel that we are at fault for the situation. We express our empathy for Mr. **** and Crankys predicament, and we are glad to hear Cranky is doing well through Mr. ***** certified letters.

    I am rejecting this response because:   the business is negligent and fully responsible for all $1,077.89 of additional veterinary bills that resulted from that negligence.  The business admitted that they neglected to include the proper syringe that would measure the prescribed dosage.  The audacity for them to even attempt to excuse themselves and place blame on the customer is sickening and they ought to be ashamed.  Neither syringe in the box was capable of measuring the prescribed dosage and they know this.  As God is my witness, I will pursue this through the court system for however long I need to until justice is served and this business reimburses me for the costs and the h*** that their negligent staff has put my entire family through.
