I moved out of my apartment on July 2nd at 4pm 2024, my rent was paid the month of June , they wanted to charge me approx $186 for the first 2 days in July, which I thought was quite a lot , but I agreed to it. I proceeded to move out of the apartment I clean the apartment. I called them today and asked them what was my final bill and how could I come in and pay them I was supposed to get a $300 deposit back from what I paid when I moved in the very beginning when I lease the apartment they said they were taking that they weren't giving it back because there was a broken blind in the living room one little area like 2 inches the towel holder broke in the bathroom , but it was constantly falling apart when you hung a towel in it bcs it was cheap and it took forever to get maintenance to come fix it , , That wasn't my fault, and the toilet paper roll holder broke because they wouldn't ever come fix it. That wasn't my fault either , it was just a crappy holder in the bathroom so they took my deposit $300 on top of that they wanted to charge me a total of $375 extra as my final bill for a total of $675 I said that was ridiculous. There's no way , they wanted to take my $300 deposit. They charge me $375 on top of that they are known for ripping people off and charging way overly priced and not a good apartment complex as far as dealing with people with money, they like to rip people off , so very much upset about this and would like someone to notify them and help me resolve this because I can't afford to pay that much money. I've already lost my deposit for no reason because they wouldn't come fix their crappy, toilet paper holder and towel ******************* each time you call there no one would show up and the blind was already broken. I don't even understand why they're taking my deposit and why they're charge me an extra $175 on top of the $186 are already gonna charge me for two days of rent for the first two days of July . Can you please advocate for me

I stayed at this apartment complex for half a year from March 2022 to October 2022. We put in our notice to move out on the 1st, which we did, and dropped the keys off in an envelope. A month later we followed up with the complex about the deposit and or charges. We were told they hadn't been processed yet and to check again later, which we did. We were told there was no longer a balance owed and we would get s check for a credit back. Things went silent and then we received emails about charge upwards of $1500. I spoke with ****** who said she would look into it with the property management since we were told no balance was owed. This business performed shady business practices in lying about the deposits and charging an outrageous amount. We are now 2 years later and this business is sending me to credit agencies for collection. I have my call history for the amount of times I called the complex as well as emails about the issue.
