When your Air Conditioner has a big problem, you need help from a knowledgeable ** specialist. Our ** unit is 17 years old. Its been serviced several times over the years, mainly adding refrigerant. There have been some repairs, but it turns out that much more was needed. A few weeks ago, our house was getting warmer, and the ** unit was running almost constantly all day, but not putting out any cold air. I changed the system to just run the fan hoping this would clear the problem. No help so we turned the system off. The ** unit had frozen, and when the ice thawed, a lot of water started running down into our laundry room, which is just under the ** unit in the attic above it. My wife put down a bucket and sopped up water with a lot of towels. The next morning, after praying about it, researched and found Kaspereit Services, BBB-(A+) . They couldnt come that day but did come the next day. When ****** ********************** did come, right away he knew what had happened. ****** did a complete analysis of our system. He found many issues like crossed wires, the float switch was not installed correctly, the blower motor and evaporator had under sized capacitors, a contact switch that was pitted, and more. He did a lot of repair, replaced several of the system components, and added about 4 pounds of refrigerant. These problematic issues had been there all along. The real problem, though, is that the evaporator coil was leaking refrigerant in several places and needed to be replaced. It worked for now, but this was a short term fix so two days later he replaced the evaporator coil. With my background as a Failure Analyst, I was very impressed with ******. He is detail oriented and fixed what our system needed. Not only that, but he is honest, trustworthy, easy to talk with, very friendly, and competent. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND him to take care of HV** systems.
