    A **************************************** at All Costs Building our log home with Katahdin has been one of the worst decisions weve ever made. What should have been an exciting and rewarding process turned into a drawn-out ordeal filled with unprofessionalism, mismanagement, and outright negligence. If youre considering this company for your dream home, I urge you to think twice.1. Lack of Transparency The project was plagued by a lack of communication and transparency. Critical details were either omitted or glossed over, leaving us constantly chasing answers and clarity while major problems mounted.2. Questionable Financial Practices There were significant issues with how the project was managed financially. Costs ballooned well beyond expectations by Katahdin's recommended builder, with little to no explanation or accountability. This resulted in a substantial financial burden and left me questioning how my money was being used.3. Extensive Delays What was supposed to be a smooth process quickly devolved into endless delays and broken promises. Timelines were rarely met, and there was a noticeable lack of urgency to get the project back on track.4. Substandard Workmanship The quality of work was far below acceptable standards. From structural concerns to finishing details, it was clear that corners were cut throughout the process. I am now left with a home that requires extensive repairs and additional costs to make it safe and functional.5. No Resolution or Accountability Despite numerous attempts to resolve these issues, I was met with indifference and a refusal to take responsibility. The company has shown no interest in making things right, leaving us frustrated and disillusioned.Building a home is one of the biggest investments youll makedont risk it with a company that cannot deliver on its promises or treat its customers with honesty and respect.
