Insurance company hired ServPro to remove furniture and store on-sight whilst repairs were being made. ServPro farmed out the job to a 3rd party, thusly overcharging. I wrote a check to the company performing. It was returned as they were apparently paid by ServPro. It took Servpro a year to get an invoice out to us. I personally, although I'm not on title to this house, phoned them to make arrangements to pay $100/mo until some of my belongings were sold. I've done so each month. They have reneged on the agreement and are demanding full payment. Sid Whittaker and I share this house. We are both on Social Security benefits and do not have the funds to pay in full, which was explained to them when I phoned to make arrangements. They then threatened to call our insurance company to let them know funds were used for a different purchase, which is far from the truth. Then they threatened to put a lien on this house. Completely uncalled for if they'd just stuck to the payment agreement.

SERVPRO of Mayes and Wagoner Counties performed a service at your residence, as requested and expected, for a predetermined price approved by you and your insurance adjuster. You received full payment for this service from your insurance company. It is easily understandable that we expect full payment also. The only agreement made was for full payment when services were performed.

    Consumer Response /* (3000, 7, 2022/09/20) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
    1. The insured did not hire you, nor did he approve your fee or your work. A check was written out made payable to whatever company YOU hired and sent out. However, the gentleman gave it back and said they are not the ones to get paid and to contact you. It took a while, as we had no idea which office to contact. Finally, once found, we asked for an invoice.
    2. It took you nearly a year to send an invoice out. It was then you were contacted to make payment arrangements, and your representative agreed to those arrangements. $100 per month until such a time more could be done. No one EVER agreed on a simple few months at that. Seniors, and surely you know this, live on a tight budget. But you will continue to receive $100 per month per our verbal arrangement until it can be paid in full, quite possibly by the end of the year. There is nothing else that can be done for now.
    3. If Vikki had not been so rude...interrupting me, threatening me, disregarding what I was trying to tell her, she'd have not caused this report. If she treated me like that, surely she is doing the same to others. No way to win any business referrals, and certainly no way to be in charge of running a business.
    4. The person I made the arrangements with was someone named Beverly, I believe. She put me on hold while she got authority from someone else there. As far as I was concerned, and because you accepted my first payment....as well as the second...and the check I just sent you for that matter....we entered into a contract. I intend to honor my end of it.
