I took my car into this shop because I had low compression on one cylinder. I told them I checked the cylinder pressure with a compression gauge and it was at 140. They told me that they would diagnose the problem and let me know what it was. They called me and said there was a evap leak and they needed to fix that before they could even proceed with the low compression problem so I told them to go ahead and fix it. The next day they called me and told me that my cylinder wasnt building more than 90 psi and that I had a broken rod or warped head and it needed a new engine. I took my car in with it running perfectly fine, if it had a broken rod, the motor would be knocking, and if it had a warped head, it would be running really bad. It was running and driving really good with a slight misfire. They ended up charging me $600 to replace a mass airflow sensor($50part) and put some glue around a plastic tube that was broken to fix my evap leak. When I talked to the receptionist on the phone, I told her I would take my car to another shop and she seemed really concerned about that. She kept asking what they could do to help me, but I told her I was coming to get my car. After taking my car home, I still have a check engine light for a evap leak and I checked my cylinder pressure and its still at 140. When I was at the shop they told me they would call me the next day with a quote for a new engine replacement and a used engine replacement, but I have not received a call and that was over a week ago. They definitely did not diagnose my car properly and they gave me a worst case scenario to try to run up a bill. I would not do business with these people.
