    I have been seeking two refunds that OU medical center has acknowledged yet has been delaying issuing for months now
    I keep getting the run around with who is processing it and when it will be issued. The refunds are in the amount of $2884.84 as well as $500.

    No one will return my calls and the person I have been communicating with will not give me any more information of who is in charge.

    I went to a pre-Chemotherapy appointment with ***************************, NP at OU *************************** center on 11/30/23 at 10am, they told me show up at 9:15am, because I had chemo the next day. ******* asked about a prescription called Remeron, but I have not been able to find it. I told her I would have to go home and see if I had it and at 10am she put in the progress notes of my appointment details that "She has a rx for ******* for loss of appetite but denies taking it.", which is completely inaccurate and I don't know how what I said could be misconstrued that way.

    Through reviewing my EOBs , I am due a refund for over $700 that I have been calling about for a couple of months now about . After weeks of calling , I finally reached a supervisor named **** that assured me she was reviewing the issue and would call me back within two days , that was a month ago . I have since called on a daily basis , and I am always told she is unable to get on the phone . I have left dozens of messages and I am not receiving a returned phone call within a month . After speaking with a representative today , nothing has been fixed on my account, and I want my refund , and I want a supervisor to call me back . I also want to hospital administrator to know what an unacceptable job the billing department and supervisors are doing.

    My son was born March of 2020 and we had insurance. We had to pay the hospital bill in 2 payments because we had to wait until we got our tax returns that year. Everything was paid, and we got confirmation that we owed nothing. We continued to get after care for our son at OU and we never had anything outside the normal happen. Fast forward to June 2022 and out of the clear blue sky a bill for March 2020 shows up at my door for a flat $500. I called and asked what was happening and got a less then helpful billing agent from Medicredit that told me they couldn't see what the charges were for. I asked for an itemized statement which was never received and let them know that I was disputing the charges. Heard nothing from them for 3 months until another letter came in the mail with the same information on it. Another phone call and the girl openly admitted that it looked like a mistake. I told her I wasn't paying for a mistake and again asked for an itemized statement. Still received nothing. Today, January 2023, I receive another letter from another company stating I owe this money. I have not had any response from OU health about the bill, have not received the itemized statement, and haven't heard from anybody in a supervisory role since the beginning of this saga. It is my believe that someone made a mistake and instead of owning it is trying to cover it up.

    Date of service 04-05-21, I had wrist surgery on this date and at that time I had Insurance but I had to let it go because I wasn't no longer able to make premiums I'm on sooner care now and have been for a while, so when I received this statement on 04-22 I was blown away I didn't know insurance didn't pay for the whole bill until then so I was making $10 monthly payments I have a pension that I received each month for $331. I received a letter that I wasn't paying so I called the business office and explain my situation she told me payments need to be $135 I think that's the correct amount I told her that I couldn't afford so I applied for charity, the first-time application came back because I sent it to the wrong address so when application came back, I resent it to the correct address. That application didn't come back so they must have received it I have been waiting on their decision if I qualify or not, the next thing I know I got collection papers from Medicredi so I called the business office and asked them why did I received collection when I haven't heard back from OU if I qualify or not for charity, she told me that two letters has been sent out and the last one was 9-4 which I still haven't received either letters and she said email was sent to [email protected] I told her that I haven't had that email over 5 years so she couldn't give me any information on my account. I called Legal Aid to see if they could help me with this matter then I called the collection agency to let them know that I'm seeking legal advice, Legal Aid wrote me and said they couldn't help me at this time, so I called the collection agency to see if there where anything I could work out with them and was told they couldn't speak to me since I've a lawyer which I never did say I had hired a lawyer I think her name was Veroncia and she told me she can't talk to me I would like to know why OU didn't get in touch with me before they sent my account to collection.
