    We hired Champion Plumbing and paid them $5663.00 to have all cast iron pipes under the house replaced with 3"pvc pipe.That work did not happen. I had to go to the VA that day but confirmed before I left they would be replacing all of the cast iron with PVC pipe. The techs showed my wife pictures. She did not have the technical knowledge to know if they did the job right. Then to find out they did not do the work we were more than disappointed.1-10-25 the substandard work showed itself when ***** material came up through the shower.They sent out a tech to snake the pipe he pulled roots from 14' under the house. He said it was old cast iron pipe. Then he scoped the outside pipe to the sewer which is clear. They sent out another tech who went under the house . He said ******* would call us He was really pushing a $10,000 replacement of the pipe from the house to the sewer.On 1-30-25 a tech came with a camera to scope the pipes. There was still a root intrusion in the cast iron pipe under the house. He ran the camera to the city sewer. The line was clear. He made a call, he was speaking with owners. He said that they would make it right & sorry for everything we have been through. That has not happened as promised.1-31- 25 I called about a $443 refund for the drain snaking. If they did the work right the 1st time there would have been no need to snake the pipe. We never heard back from them.2-13-25 I called the city of ****** about a code compliance inspection. They did not get a permit or have a code compliance inspection for any of the work 2-13-25 They said that they didnt need a permit & then said they would get a permit when the job is done. The city of ****** said dont let them do any work without a permit. I told them they would need a permit to do the work. They immediately canceled my 2-14-25 date.They guaranteed the work would be done on 2-25-25 that did not happen.

    We got a call from ***** **** on 9-22-22 for a draining issue in his home. He stated in the call that he could smell ***** matter in his sink. Said he would have it snaked every few months and was ready to get it fixed.  After out techs arrived and evaluated the situated we discovered he had cast iron pipes under his home that were degrading cause there to be multiple backups in his home.

    We offered him 3 options to fix his house

    $5663-Rebuild cast iron pipe running to bathrooms and fixing dislocated pipe

    $1163-fix dislocated pipe under the home

    $9126-complete full rebuild under home of all cast iron


    He chose the $5666 partial rebuild and we did the work under his home customer was left with working facilities.


    On 1-11-25 we get a call for a backup in the home and we go out and clear his line. We believed the back was roots and mud in the in exterior sewer which we did not originally touch. We went several times and sent many techs. We end up seeing it is indeed below the house in one of the areas we did not repair because he didnt do the full repair option initially. The customer was very verbally abusive to our call center and our techs. Management made the decision to go back and repair the small portion of cast iron which was left for no fee. Champion did that and pulled the permit. We even elected to do an additional repair called brush coating that we scheduled. We had done all the repair for him at no cost but had to reschedule brush coating  due to weather issues and sicknesses. He cancelled our last appointment and then filed a complaint with you guys. We still have a permit and have completed almost everything and he is in working order.
