My ********** purchased a sweet little camper from this man. We were told that it had never been slept in because the old man that owned it passed away and the wife didnt want it. Throughout the entire sale and paperwork, he kept telling us, call anytime night or day if you have any questions or problems. After the purchase we found he had wired the awning together to keep it from flying off down the road. Thats when he introduced us to his best friend and roommate, *************************, an RV repair guy. On our first outing we found there was no black tank pull. Called to see if we had missed something. Oh, Im with a customer, Ill call you back. This was his answer each time we called until he quit answering at all. We called ****, the repair guy, who seemed very helpful until he disappeared with $400 upfront money for parts to fix our awning. It is our belief that this is a racket; *************** c*** and **** fixes or steals. Highly DO NOT recommend these guys.If you visit the website, all inventory says barn kept or shop kept. All lies.

    Complaint: ********

************** is correct, the camper was purchased 4/29. It was picked up the next day, 4/30. ********************, the repair person, was on the lot and helped with the loading & unloading. He and ************** made it clear they were very good friends and even roommates. They were the ones that suggested my bestie make an insurance claim on the camper she wanted to sell. I had no involvement in that camper being on **************** lot; that is between he and my friend.

The day the camper was picked up was the first notice that the awning was not okay. ************** or ******************** had wired the awning arm to insure it wouldn't flop out during transport. This is when ******************** scheduled with me a time to do some other work on the camper. The only reason I chose to work with ******************** is because ************** was so complimentary and trusting of him. This is the reason I believe these two men run a racket of business for each other.

And the follow through on both their parts is so disappointing. ************** was so adamant that we could call anytime, night or day, he said. But when called to ask questions, he was always with a customer; Ill call you back. Never, ever heard back from him. Then when ******************** disappeared with $400 up front for parts, the lies continued and got worse. These men are not trustworthy. BUYER BEWARE.

    To Whom It May Concern:

Consignment **'s & Boat sales sold ********************* a 2022 ************** on 04/29/2024. Prior to the purchase of the ******************** came to the lot to look the camper over to make sure it was the one that she wanted. Upon arrival ******* noticed that the awning had a bent arm. At which ******* asked if we could order her a new awning which at that time we told her that we do not work on the **'s. ******* then asked who we would recommend to do the repairs on the *** We told her that we sublet all of our work out and most of the time we use *************************.

******* then asked if we could give her the information to reach out to *************************. ******* then communicated with ************************* about doing the work for the awning. It is our understanding that he ordered the awning and that it is on backorder. ************************* is a self contractor that we use to do repairs on our **'s and is not an employee of Consignment **'s and Boat Sales.

******* then asked before she left if we could consign her 2005 Wildwood which we had no problem doing. After the arrival of the ** she then tells us that she has filed an insurance claim on it and that she is waiting to hear back from them. ******* did not have to pay the $750.00 consignment fee that we normally charge each customer up front. The ** then sat on our lot for 3 weeks before we heard anything. IAA Auction the showed up to the lot to pick up the unit at which time they asked if they owed us anything and we told them no. So ******* was not out any money for her ** sitting on our lot. We normally charge $35.00 per day for storage.

If anyone would like to speak with ************************* in regards to this matter he can be reached at *************** or his address is **************************************

I am rejecting this response because:
I have not heard from ************** or ******************** about the resolution of fixing the broken awning. At this point, Id settle for the $400 ******************** took from me to buy the parts and never bought them. But, I would also like to see a letter kept in the BBB files about the shady dealings of these two men and their respective businesses.
    Sincerely,

    *********************
