    On November 9, 2023, *************************** and his crew arrived on my property to remove a tree, grind the *****, and trim some trees around a cabin. Work was completed as expected and I paid $1,632. As the crew was leaving in a bucket truck, the top of the truck struck my gate surround causing it to bend over and rendering the gate inoperable. ***** agreed to contact his insurance company to determine coverage once we provided him a repair estimate. On Dec 6, 2023 I texted ***** the repair estimate. I got a reply from ******** (customer service) stating she would forward to ***** and have him get back to me. I did not hear from *****. I emailed him a copy of the repair receipt on Feb 1, 2024. I did not hear from *****. I texted him the receipt on Feb 7. He called me Feb 8 surprised I had not heard from his insurance company. That was the last time I was able to speak to ***** despite texting, calling and emailing multiple times. His insurance company called me the first time on Feb 14. They have been unable to reach ***** to determine coverage or date of incident. Because they have not been able to reach him, they closed the claim on April 22, 2024 and will not pay. I would like ***** to reimburse me for the cost to repair my gate.
