    I hired Friends Granite to replace quartz in 5 areas that originally had granite. Jerry came to measure - we agreed on a price and scheduled a date. - the first time the kitchen island quartz was the wrong size, no bar over hang was done and a large space was left on either side of the stove and then filled in with white silicon next to black quartz.. - owner felt that it was both of our responsibilities to make the situation right, suggested he would come back and fix mistake and I only had to pay for materials meaning a second slab which was quoted at 1400. I agreed because I wanted the job complete after spending time , effort and money on plumbers to hook sink and stove back up after countertop changes and because a counter height chairs don't make sense without a bar over hang on your counter. I did not agree that the companies mismeasurement was my fault. I paid for the original job in full. I do not think I should be charged for the same job twice. Overall I am pleased with the final result it was a long road there with plumbers scheduled three times (friends rescheduled the first time the morning of the scheduled job) and now I have been billed 1845.00. I do not believe i am responsible for this payment.
