    On 4/14/23 the residence my family resides at had a huge water leak causing kitchen, hallways, guest bathroom, childrens bedrooms and master bedroom and bathroom to flood with water causing standing water on floors causing the walls to get soaked. I reported the issue. Issue was supposedly fixed as far as the leak however walls and floors that were damaged from water were and are still not replaced. On 6/11/2023 Water leak reoccurred causing childrens bedrooms, hallway and guest bathroom floors to be soaked again and standing water occurring in my 3 yr old sons ***************. When I assess the situation I noticed black mold in the bottom of the closet and the wall was soft in a spot the was easily pushed and hole was made exposing more black mold behind the wall. I took pictures and videos of the situation. The property management company sent ***************** to look at the issues whom removed the sheet rock off the walls and then I noticed the studs behind the wall had mold on it as well. Later that evening the maintenance workers tried covering up the studs without removing the black mold properly. I have high concerns for the health and well being of my family we left the premises and stayed in a hotel so were not in the property and around the mold issue. I also contacted the ******** city inspector ****** whom showed up assets the situation and stated we did not need to be in the apartment then later said its not that big of a deal do nothing about the issue.Ive requested that my deposit be returned and most current month of rent paid so I can vacate the property and find a suitable healthy home for my family and I to reside with no concerns or health issues. ******** with KindProperties refused to return my deposit and current paid rent in the amount of $2,547.50 So with high hopes Im reaching out to BBB for assistance to handle this issue thank you and look forward to speaking with you soon. ***********************
