June 2023 i began leasing a mobile home from *************************. The dwelling was barely livable due to water damage and mold. There were holes in the floor and mold all over the ceilings. ****** and I agreed that I would live in the home while making needed repairs and that I would purchase the home for $5,000.00. I paid her an initial payment of $1500 and We agreed that I would pay $350 a month for the lot rent and $400 a month towards the $5,000 and any improvements made would come out of my pocket. Fast forward about 8 months and Ive repaired the subfloor as well as replaced all the carpet with vinyl lvp flooring throughout the entire house. Ive completely remodeled the master bathroom. I mudded all the seams between wall panels throughout the entire house as well as painted every wall in every room. I replaced a couple kitchen cabinets and sanded and painted the existing ones. I added top-end ceiling fans in the master bedroom and the living room. I added 5% window tint to every window to help keep the inside cool in the summer as well as paid over $500 to have the a/c charged. I replaced every lightbulb with energy efficient LEDs and resealed the front and back doors. I was getting close to having the $5,000 paid off and so I began inquiring about the deed to the mobile home. Thats when ***************** informs me that she cant actually sell it for $5,000 but rather $25,000. I told her that wasnt feasible and paid her the $350 lot rent for that month and began looking for somewhere else to live. She then serves me an eviction stating that I owe her over $3,000 in back rent and gives a court date. I show up to court on July 30, 2024 at the ************************* with all of my before and after pictures of the mobile home as well as paper copies of every text message ever exchanged between ****** and myself. Judge ***** rules against me without even hearing my side. Then today, August 9, 2024 I was forcibly removed with barely any of my belongings. 0/10. ***** ***
