    Yes Communities/**************** in ******, ** has suffered hardship upon our family for 1 1/2 yrs, as we were residents there and now as we have moved out 6mos ago. We are Disabled Americans that were taken advantage of, robbed by, harassed and subject to unsafe, unlivable conditions by Sherwood Village for the year we lived there and it resulted in serious health problems for our family and we absolutely had to move out. These issues were all reported to ****************** in ***, for many months while we lived there, and even after we moved because they continued to pursue and harass us at our new address. As an act of retaliation against us for reporting them to housing, *******, the manager has decided to send us to collections for unspoken of amounts of money that we DO NOT rightfully owe them. ********************************** and ******, the District Manager decided to keep our entire deposit, even though the mold ridden house was professionally cleaned on our way out, no reason to keep deposit, and they charged us an excessive cleaning bill but no cleaning was needed and we left NO damages. Our deposit was $729, cleaning bill $250, money that we SHOULD NOT owe them, and they have sent us to collections for excess of $1100.00, which is not warranted. ****************** told ******** that they'd have to take us to court in any case, and they DID NOT do that, they sent us to collections instead for an amount of money that we do not owe them and they're doing this retaliatorily, to mess up our credit and stick us with the cost for their neglegent acts against us. We were told by ******, in May 2022 that we could leave and cancel our lease as soon as we found a safer place to live, he never told us we would be punished and penalized for escaping for our family's health, he said we could cancel anytime due to the dire circumstances. They have not followed proper procedure or abided by the law in any of this, they took us to collections instead and this is fraud, clearly so.

    Hello, On 08/26/2022 a lease was signed to lease ****** ************ Lot #***.  On 05/22/**** ************************* spoke with *********************** about several concerns with the home.  *********************** agreed to let ****** out of the lease with the property notification including a 30 day notice and rent paid until the end of the follow month the notice was received.   On 07/26/**** there was an eviction after non payment of July rent case#****-1639.  On 08/09/**** there was a court judgement granted.  The amount due to ************************* has been send to collections for further efforts to resolve amount owed.

    I am rejecting this response because:
    The response issued by Yes Communities is entirely false. The conversation with ****** didn't go the way Yes Comm. states, there were NO specifics mentioned by ******, he stated we were free to leave at any time once we found a safer place, due to the circumstances of our health. As well, we moved out and into our current home on 7/15/23, and provided ********* with email notice ahead of time. The keys were handed in on 7/22/23 after we had the place professionally cleaned. There was no eviction or prior balance because we paid rent 6/2023 and the deposit they kept from us was more than enough to pay the prorated rent for the 2 weeks we were actually living there. This is clearly a retaliatory response from Yes Communities against a disabled family. We were not evicted, we left willingly and as advised by ******************. There was never an eviction notice given to us, this is a fabricated response.
