    Date of work: April 21 2023 Two employees from Travis Plumbing arrived 10:41 am to install water filter already purchased in hot water tank closet and inspect outside water faucets. Quote provided for work appro $200.00. Work ended at 12:45 with a final payment due of $513.00. Informed plumber this was 3 times amount quoted. Reasons for increase was: service charges $50.00 per person per hr, must charge to and from office travel time, and equipment used to complete job. I was being charged for over 3 hrs of service time, and I told plumber he did not arrive until 10:41 and mentioned current time. He then adjusted quote based upon truthful time stating he had made a mistake. I then asked if both were licensed plumbers and he stated yes, so I had to pay the higher rate for both. Final payment was $439.00. I asked for final invoice and he stated this would be sent from office via email. I then called office and asked for invoice. I was told this would be sent when he sent the invoice to office from I pad. I called back to office because no invoice had been sent. I informed office of the quoted price provided before the job and the final invoiced amount and payment provided by check. I was told that company did not charge by the hour but by the job, and the quoted price would be the price I would be responsible for. I was also told the only one of the employees was a licensed plumber and the other was an apprentice. I was told office would review invoice and provide a refund. As of 4/24/2023 I have not: received an invoice, no further contact with company, and no refund provided.

    This issue has been resolved. It was a miscommunication between technician and customer. Spoke with customer over phone and have mailed out copy of invoice and reimbursement check.
