      I am rejecting this response because:

      In response to the company, what proof do you have that confirms you checked for a leak? Without the state-required paperwork, how do I know your driver tested? Did you witness him do it? I did not. 

      I did not request a leak test from the new company - they performed it in accordance with state requirements. According to your response, the driver checked for a leak every time he filled the tank? Again, what proof can you offer?

      Also, please note, I received ONE email about a past due invoice. No phone calls. I was told I was a credit customer once I filled out the credit application and no instructions were given about when or how much needed to be paid on the account at any given time. I will attach a copy of the one email below, which shows it wasn't until June of 2022 that you offered me a different pay option. We'd been getting propane from you for over 6 months. Communication is lacking. 

      The main point that you missed is in regards to your company failing to complete state-required paperwork that could have cost me my house if something had happened. It is your job to know the laws and abide by them.

      We are terribly sorry this is the first we are hearing of this. Going back through the account records I see where the account was originally changed over from the previous resident. When a tank is filled, the driver does check for leaks. In this case, we had a leak check done on the propane system without any interruption of service. However, a new inspection form should have been completed due to the name change on the account with the customer on site to sign off on the inspection. I show where multiple deliveries were made and payment was received. There were several attempts made to contact the customer on some past due delivery invoices, but no communication back to us regarding a leak or suspected leak. We take leak complaints very seriously and would have come out to check the system. In the event a leak was found, credit would have been given for the amount that was missing from the tank, and the tank repair would have been completed. The safety of our customers and their families is very, very important to us. Without us being contacted regarding the leak, there is no way for us to know that any action needs to be taken. This makes it impossible to correct the situation and maintain a quality relationship with the customer. Please let us know if there are any communication attempts that were missed on our part.
