    I am needing help with our local dentist office here in Mcloud Ok. We have never had is***s until now they have put my son ******'s bill in my name and will not change it. We have our own insurance as does he. He has been moved out and on his own and was at the time of this appointment he is 22 years old. I have called 3 times asking them to change it and I am told every time by the recep/office manager that she can not change it. That her system wont let her change it. I am concerned that if they send it to collections in my name that will damage my credit and have been told that I can *** them if they do that. I just want my name of a bill that is mine. They told my son when I asked him to call them that that one bill has been moved to my son from here on out but they cant change the bills already sent because at the time I was the responsible person for my son. And I was not! I checked and looked Thats incorrect. It cannot be billed to me if he was over 18 on that date of service and he was! .

    When we originally started seeing the patient he was a minor and the Mother was listed as the responsible party. The Mother or Father has always made the appointments and came to the appointments with the patient. When we ask if there have been any changes on the account, the answer has always been no. When there were billing issues the Mother called and we switched it to ****** as the responsible party and I explained to **** our system has been changed but it will not change previous claims. Only claims in the ********** is not that we won't change it is the system will not allow it to go back only forward. I've explained this multiple times and explained as long as the services are paid the account will not be turned to a collection agency and any future claims ****** is listed as the responsible party.
