      5/23/25 Bought a new ** refrigerator for nearly $2000.00 after taxes and delivery. Upon delivery, it appeared beat up and dented; the stainless steel face is scratched up; the back panel was bent and looked as if it had been off before; there was black sludge at the back of the water hookup; and there was dried blood in the freezer after condensation appeared after cooling you can see where there has been an attempt to clean it to appear new. It has been over 24 hours now, and it is not attempting to make ice probably why it was returned. I've tried diagnostics from a ****** search, but it hasn't helped anything. This is clearly a returned item.

      We contacted ******* New and resolved the issue by apologizing and giving him a check for $250 for lost food replacement as well as having him come back to the store and reselect a new refrigerator of his choice and picked up the non-working unit and delivered the new one at no cost to ********* residence.
