The title I ended up getting 45 days later wasn't even switched to their name and into a Oklahoma title  the bill of sale stated they'd fix water heater I ended up buying it myself it was supposed to be live in ready one of the holding tanks also leak I have to have a new one put in

As our bill of sale states, used campers are sold as-is. They are gone through and ready to go. There was nothing written on the bill of sale about hot water heater being repaired as we did not know there was anything wrong with it. We did offer him a hot water heater and toilet valve, but he declined. As far as the issue with the title, he was taking it out of the state of ********, we asked him to send it back to get a new title, and he also declined. We were willing to work with him, but he declined. The rest of the complaint was never addressed by ***********************************

His hand wrote on bill of sale that he'd fix hot water heater it'd be a couple day it was never going out of state they delivered it to a rv park in **** ******** they go through them as well as a blind and def person would  because the sewage tank also needs repaired when we bought it was supposed to be live in ready  they definitely the most untrustworthy place

His hand wrote to fix water heater  on bill  of sale they are incompetent  they delivered it in ******** Knowing I have no license dso why lie about that even I'll be happy when license is revoked

As previously stated, ************************ declined our hot water heater. Which was never written on the contract to be fixed, as I have supplied a picture of the contract as proof. The black tank was never addressed to us as a problem. We have one he can have also if he wants it. It's difficult being a business that wants a good reputation, and offers customers a solution, only to be declined. Also if ************************ still has a problem with his title, he needs to send it to us, or drop it off so that it can be addressed.
And as previously stated our business is used rvs, we cannot offer a warranty. Therefore the signed contract specifically states AS-IS,

When I bought a 2012 Amerilite Camper from Brooks RV in *****, ** on December 4, 2023 I was promised that the ** had been properly winterized and that everything was in working order. When I mentioned that I would not know if there were issues with the water pipes and everything associated with the camper until I de-winterized it in the Spring, I was promised that they would take care of any damage associated with improper winterization at that time. When I went to de-winterize the Camper on April 4, 2024 I learned that it had not been de-winterized and had broken water pipes and a non working water pump. I called the dealer right away and he was not willing to do anything at all and so had basically lied to me in order to make the sale.

    Business Response

    Date: 04/27/2024

I received this letter after I was called about the camper bought by *********************. **************** made physical threats, which werent taken kindly. He bought the camper in December, and as the contract he signed states as-is. Anything can happen in four months. Our campers ARE winterized, and he looked everything over before purchasing. His rude behavior is why I am standing on my as-is clause.

    Customer Answer

I am rejecting this response because it is not true.  I will submit a statement from my neighbor who is very knowledgeable about ******* and informed me that the Camper had not been winterized at all.  This neighbor wanted to use the camper for an out of town guest who was coming to view the eclipse.  I informed him that I had not yet de-winterized the camper since I brought it home right after buying it from Brooks RV.  The neighbor then offered to help me de-winterize the camper and immediately apon seeing it commented that it did not look like it had been winterized at all.  We found that the hot water tank was full of plain water and the lines had not even been drained.  No antifreeze had been added.  Basically no winterization had been done at all.  When we tested the lines together by attaching it to his hose we heard the broken pipes behind the shower wall.  This camper had definitely not been winterized, and just as Mr. ********************** lied to my face saying that the camper had been winterized and that he would guarantee that it did not have any defects, he is not being truthful about our conversation and the condition of the Camper at the time off the sale now.   I ask that you allow me the time to gather and submit a notorized statement from my neighbor who witnessed helped me with attempting to open the Camper which had not been winterized by the dealer as he is stating.

The attached file is a short movie of my neighbor ******************************* telling the story of how on or around April 4, 2024 when he went to de-winterize my 2012 Amerilite Camper purchased from Brooks RV he discovered that the camper had not been winterized as the dealer is claiming it was.  I can have his statement printed, signed, and notarized if needed.  Thank You.

    Customer Answer

The video I forwarded to your office of my eye witness to the fact that the camper had not been winterized is in direct conflict with *****'s RV's statement that the Camper was winterized.  I don't understand why the case is being closed.  Is lying to customers and to your organization an acceptable business practice?  In the very least, my experience with this business should be known to others who research Brooks RV through your site.  If not, I am very disappointed in your organization.
