    I purchased your 5 gallon gas can last Saturday, May 24th at the ********** in ********, **. I purchased this gas can because I went on a roadtrip and off road in my vehicle. I was at ***************** where in the middle of the desert thought it was a perfect time to use and put gas in my vehicle as I was low on gas. It was very difficult to use. Instructions were clear and simple but something seemed wrong. It shouldnt be so difficult to get the gas to pour. I got someone to help with the gas can and they couldnt get it to pour out either. I ended up taking the front piece off to use as a funnel to get gas into my car. Spills happened and this couldnt have been healthy when it was 98 degrees and I had the fumes of gas I was breathing. Because of the spills I damaged my rear tire which caused complete discoloration of the tire and will have to get replaced. I just got these off road tires little over 4 months ago which cost me little over ***** with installation. Because of the faulty can, I had no option but to use the front piece of the can as a funnel since I needed gas. There was just no other option. I went to ********** as soon as I arrived back home and had them try to use the gas can and no worker could get it to pour. I still had little gas in it as I explained what I had to do. I also couldnt just dump the gas out, I tried to improvise and did what I needed to do. Despite of the damage to my vehicles tire this can cannot possibly be safe.

    I bought a 5 gallon gas can, red, with a green and black nozzle. Took it to the gas station and the lid took 15 minutes to remove-had to ask a man, who also had a difficult time. When I went to use the gas, another man took about 15 minutes to get the lid off, it didn't work. Took it back to WalMart for a refund. They don't give refunds once gas is in it. Plus, the gas leaked as we tried to pour it. I called the Scepter company for months and left a message with every department-no response. Pretty please get me a refund for the can. It was $34.??, plus tax. I would settle for $36.00. If you have further questions, my phone is XXX-XXX-XXXX. Thank You Very Much!
