Bought a used RV from subject that was unsafe to operate. Said RVT was a trade in for them. ** was said to be inspected and clear of defects. Only 30 min into driving it home, a tire blew out so violently it damaged much of RVs exterior within the prox. Had take it back for repair. After month got it back, it was said to be all fixed. However there was still a problem with axle that was missed every time supposly. A bent axle was causing a unsafe tire wear on inside edge of tire which is what was caused original blowout. I found the discrepancy while inspecting a water leak. Took RV back told them what was happening. They told me I would have file insurance claim because it was over a year and my extended warranty I bought didn't cover said axle. They also never returned calls ever. After month I fiscally went to buisness to talk with manager. When I asked him why they were passing the buck to me. Things got ugly almost resulting in fiscal altercation with manager who didn't think it was there problem. It was Friday morning and I had appointment, last we spoke manager said he would call me back with quotes and decision that same day before close buisness. He never called back. I believe this is a clear safety issue and can't believe there lack of responsibility to public. Blow outs such as this can cause larger accidents that could result in loss of life.

Customer bought a used travel trailer from us in 2021....used has no factory warranty...All used are sold "as is".Customer had a blowout after he took ownership....if you had a blowout on a car on the way home, no dealership would fix the tire or the body damage for free, but we did (PLEASE SEE ATTACHED DOCUMENTS). Even if it was new,no factory would cover the damage or the tire. We repaired $4,000 in work and bought him a whole new set of tires, for free in 2021....which is not our responsibility. We did this in 2021 to go above and beyond for this customer. Now, 3 years later, after he's dragged the unit all over the country hitting curbs and potholes, he's trying to hold us hostage with the Better Business Bureau for damage that he caused on a unit that's never had a factory warranty since he's owned it.

On top of that, the customer came in cussing, yelling and screaming and tried to fight my Service Manager. This customer is dangerous and his threats have been reported to the police.  He is not allowed back on our premises.

Please note that all Repair Orders regarding this unit have been attached to this claim.
