    I had a storage unit with this company starting at the end of April 2022. I cancelled and moved a month later.
    2 months after that, I started receiving late notices and additional fees. I emailed to get everything cancelled.
    A&J is still charging me rental charges and as of today, 10/13/2022, they have decided to cancel my unit which now has a bill over $500.

    ******, thank you for taking the time to discuss this matter. First, your bill has been zeroed and it was not sent to creditors. We have canceled your rental which is why you received the move out notice.

    Our move out policy requires a picture to be sent via email or text confirming the unit is empty to cancel the rental. We did not receive this picture via email or text confirming that you were officially out of the storage unit. We called you ten times since the end of July 2022 to find out your current status with the unit and did not answer us. The one time you did answer, you hung up on us on October 10, 2022. On 10/13/2022, we cut the lock on the unit and finalized your move out.
