    I am a disabled vet with 100 percent disability rating, homebound. On April 15, 2024 I paid Rivers Edge Countertops $6,344.64 to install countertops in my kitchen. They were scheduled to come out on May 10, 2024 to start the installation but never showed up. On Monday May 13, 2024 they showed up and started the installation. Everything went fine but one counter slab did not fit so they left and said they had to order new material. When the new material arrived they came over to install it but the color did not match the material that was already installed so they left the material that did not match and told me that I needed to contact *****. Now I'm stuck with countertops that don't match. Looking at the companies reviews, I am not the only person they have done this to.

    We signed our contract with Rivers Edge on November 28, 2023 for new countertops in our kitchen and both bathrooms. They asked for 90% of the total cost as a deposit which we payed. They did schedule and show up for the first installation promptly, but the marble was cut incorrectly for the kitchen and two bathroom sinks. It took several weeks for them to return. After all the countertops were installed, we discovered a crack in the marble near the kitchen sink, another in the guest bathroom and that the sinks in the master bath were not installed correctly due to the marble being cut incorrectly again. Since then they have returned 3 times. Twice, they installers have broken a marble slab on site and once they holes for the kitchen sink was incorrect again. We still do not have the project completed in our kitchen. Rivers Edge is not responsive to our calls and will often ignore our calls and emails for days. They have made assurances several times that they are "working on this". Two weeks ago, they sales representative assigned to our project assured me they would have the slab and cut it by Friday of that week so we could have install "early next week". That install should have been this week. We never heard from them and they ignored calls and emails until yesterday. Yesterday, ***** told me they did not have the slab. All I want is what I paid for. Reaching out to Rivers Edge is not getting me anywhere.
