On 21 APR 2025, I brought my 2020 GMC 3500HD DRW with Predator New Mutant tires mounted on 24” custom Alcoa dually wheels to Texas Tire #51 for rebalancing. I paid $652.50 for them to:

    Remove the tires,

    Remove internal balancing beads,

    Remount, and

    Balance using traditional wheel weights.

After pickup, the ride quality was noticeably worse. I called the manager, ****, who blamed the “cheap” tires, claiming they couldn’t be balanced. I returned to the store to discuss the issue. **** offered me $3,000 for my Alcoas (which I declined), then offered a set of American Warrior wheels with Nitto tires for $6,700, which I ultimately agreed to purchase after losing confidence in the current setup.

During installation, the technicians had to cut off the front spacer lugs—installed improperly during the first visit by their own staff—causing damage to the spacers and visibly damaging my Alcoa wheels. I asked that the old wheels and tires be placed in the truck bed.

Upon inspection at home, I discovered:

2 of 6 Alcoa wheels still contained balancing beads,

Only 1 wheel had any weights,

    3 wheels were visibly damaged,

$220 worth of lug nuts I paid for were never installed,

2 of the new rear American Warrior wheels were also damaged ($495 each),

And only 4 of 6 new wheels had balancing weights installed, despite a $120 charge.

This clearly shows the original $652.50 service was never completed properly, and the new install was also substandard. **** insisted all work had been done correctly over the phone based on what his technicians told him—I returned the next day to address this. Statements that directly conflict with the physical evidence in front of me.

He has since replaced the spacers, offered $330 of the original $652.50 back, and to send the damaged wheels off for polishing.

Hello. On April 22nd, 2025, I visited Texas Tires in Norman, OK (store #51) to have new wheels and tires put on. The parts were paid for the week before with a deposit of 380 dollars. I paid the remaining balance before work started. After the work was complete, I told the manager that they had installed the wrong tires. There was not enough time in the day to correct the issue so I was asked to return at a later date. I returned, as my next appointment was scheduled, two days later, the 24th. On the 24th, I was told there aren't enough workers in the garage and I was fourth in line. I made another appointment for noon on the 25th. On the way to that appointment, I was called and told there were only 3 of the 4 tires I originally ordered in stock, and I had to come back another time. It is now May 1st. My appointment today was for 3pm. It is now 4:30 and I still have not been seen. The manager is not willing to negotiate a sales allowance or discount on the originally agreed upon price. I am very disappointed in the service and will not be doing any further business here. I would like to negotiate a 100 dollar sales allowance on the poor service.

I purchased tires and rims from Texas Tire. The technician noticed that I was having other car issues and he offered to repair the problems. I paid for my tires in cash upfront in the amount of ******. I was told that I would have to make payments on my rims. I have been making payments, which I have records of. I am still being charged for the tires and rims which I purchased in August. I contacted Texas Tire Corporate and explained that I was being charged twice. They directed me to speak with the Manger of the Norman store. I allowed the technician to work on the issues he said my car was having. My check engine light was still on but he assured me that it wasn't an issue. Within a month I had to bring the car back because of multiple issues. The technician asked me to bring the car back in October but he did not have the parts. Every time I took the car in he had an excuse as to why he could not work on it. He assured me he was able to fix the problem or else I would have taken it somewhere else. In November I left my car with him and paid cash in total of ******. He never completed the repairs. The manager refused to help. I had to rent a car and borrow from friends to continue working. I finally had to pay to get my towed to another mechanic who resolved the issue.
