    On June 5, 2024, I paid $60 to Thunderbird Chapel for drinks, specifically canned soda and lemonade. However, I did not receive the lemonade. Upon visiting the venue on June 15, 2024, I noticed that lemonade was crossed out from the list of drinks displayed at the bar, indicating it was not available. It is unacceptable that I was charged for a product that was not provided. There were several other issues on my wedding day, but I'll focus on the most critical ones affecting my experience and finances. The contract allowed for a one-hour rehearsal, which we adhered to. However, during the rehearsal, ***************, who claimed to be my wedding coordinator, was rude to my family and me. She raised her voice at me at the end of the rehearsal because not all of my party was present. Despite saying we had completed everything and had 15 minutes left, she was impatient and dismissive. I recorded a video in which she assured me everything would be fine, but she was not present on the wedding day. Instead, she sent two substitutes to coordinate. On the day of my wedding, another wedding took place while I was getting ready, despite *** telling me I had paid for the entire day. This double booking was confusing and offensive to both myself and the other bride. It felt disrespectful and unprofessional. The kitchen at Thunderbird Chapel, where the food for my event was stored, was in a deplorable condition. My husband took photos of the unsanitary environment, and I am appalled that I ate anything prepared there. The state of the kitchen was unacceptable and concerning for health and safety. Overall, my experience with Thunderbird Chapel was deeply disappointing and frustrating. The lack of customer service, miscommunication about the venue booking, and unsanitary conditions in the kitchen were significant issues. I am seeking a resolution, including a refund for the drinks that were not provided and an investigation into the unsanitary conditions and double booking practices.

    First, let me say that we received this complaint by mail yesterday and the five day response time had already passed.  Surely a ten day deadline would make more sense for postal notifications!  

    Thunderbird Chapel essentially no longer exists as we leased the property to *************** in March of last year and she is operating under Thunderbird Chapel and Event Center.  I have notified her and left the notice for her at the chapel.  We have a good working relationship and I have no doubt that she will handle the complaint in a professional manner.

    I am rejecting this response because: *************** has had plenty of time to correct these things. She has not reached out to me or my family and the food was not what we asked for. She promised a refund for $400 to my family and has still not delivered. I would like this to actually be resolved. Thank you.

    Again, this complaint was sent to Thunderbird Chapel but we are no longer in business.  We leased the business to *************** DBA Thunderbird Chapel and ************* LLC in March 2023. Please remove this from our file and address any future correspondence to *** at ********************************** (yes, the email address was part of the deal). or mail to her at Thunderbird Chapel and ************* **************************************
