    e were referred to Micks Repair by *********** and trusted them because of that connection. Micks told us they needed to replace some hoses before they could determine if the engine was blown which we now know isnt true. They quoted us $780 just to start. Even though we had doubts, we trusted their word and agreed, hoping it would fix the issue.Later, *********** declined to cover the cost likely because they realized the repairs were unnecessary. I truly believe Micks Repair was trying to **************** for money they didnt earn.Despite Micks not doing any repairs, they are now refusing to return our car or even let us get our belongings out. We told them we know they didnt need to do any work just to check the engine, and after that, they became ********** this point, theyre holding our car hostage. Its been a stressful, long experience, and I wouldnt recommend this shop to anyone. I've read other ****** reviews and yellow pages reviews stating similar stories like recommending unnecessary repairs, rigging the cars, and not fully repairing things so they can charge more labor costs for the next visit.
