    5/22/23, my ******** brought to CoatPro these 47 Harley ****** parts (cleaned & bubble wrapped) to powder coat gloss black:Covers-Trans *********** Cam, 2 Rocker, 2 Tappet, 4 Pushrod (12pc), Horn; Housings-2 Rocker, 2 Rear Turn Signal, Handlebar Riser/Gauge;Brackets-Triple Tree ************** 2 Front Turn Signal Mount; Supports-2 Rear Turn Signal Mount, Lic Plate Mount; Fork Stem Cap; Handlebar Clamp; 4 Riser Bushing Wshrs; Headlamp Mount Block; 2 Fender Struts; Belt Guard; 4 Exh Heat Shlds The guy (don't know name) gave us grief for bubble wrap, handed us pocket knives, told us to unwrap parts.5/25/23, they called, said parts ready for pick up. I picked up parts (wrapped) & paid $693.5/29/23, I unwrapped parts - found still masked, coating edge burrs, dust/grit/wire hanger marks/orange peel texture, blast media/overspray still embedded in holes/internal/sealing surfaces, dirty plug old coating transfer, bare metal. Parts not ready for install/ serious flaws in workmanship. I spent hours trying to clean all blast media from parts - isopropyl alcohol/water/tap/scribe/q-tips/toothrush, rinsed blast media down drain; clean holes/inside surfaces.5/30/23, I returned 4 parts for CoatPro to redo. I didn't swear or call names. They argued with me on everything. ***** grabs my parts, slaps the clips/$200 cash in the housing, shoves it in my hands, yells, "Take your attitude and get the f@#*k out of my shop!" 5/31/23, I took all the parts to ********************, explained what had happened at CoatPro. ************** said this happens often, reviewed the parts with me. 4 pushrod covers, 3 pushrod cover clips, 2 tappet covers, 1 trans side cover, 1 primary cover, 1 riser/gauge housing need to be stripped & re-done. 2 rocker covers, 2 rocker housings, 2 fender struts, 1 bar clamp, & 2 triple tree brackets need wet sand/compound. 51% of the 47 parts had to be professionally reworked. 72% of the 47 parts have defects. CoatPro's work, customer ******** *********** are terrible.
