Find a different repair shop.We had used this auto shop once before, so when my ** seemed to be struggling, I took my car to A to Z Automotive to get it checked. It took a day and a half for them to inspect the vehicle, and when we came to collect it, **** and the team gave us an itemized list of urgent repairs that needed to be done, that the wheels would soon be falling off the vehicle. By the end of the conversation we were half certain I'd need a new car. The repairs included: Remove and replace suspension control arm ($792), remove and replace stabilizer bar ($279.76), remover and replace suspension and strut (******), remove and replace engine mount (******), and remove and replace trans mount (137).We agreed to have them repair the ** ($714), which we now regret. We took the car into AAA, for a second opinion. By now, my traction control light and check engine light were on and we were reasonably worried.Three of the "problems" that A to Z Automotive wanted to solve were not issues at all. Struts were fine, ball joints fine, and sway bar links fine. They had, additionally, missed a crack in my tire and some chewed or cut (???) wires, the latter of which AAA repaired without charge. The issues that did need to be fixed-control arms, alignment, and tires--cost half of what A to Z charged.Last, but not least--they had installed the vehicles' lug nuts backward, and when showing us the photos the technician said, "Yeah, I wouldn't use those guys again."We don't plan to.I wish I hadn't given A to Z Auto as much of our rent money as we did, but at least we'll never go back. I hope that this doesn't happen to anyone else.

I took my pickup into A-Z Automotive & Tire for an alignment November 2023. They showed me a picture of a bolt missing & told me it was too dangerous to drive & wanted to charge me $1,753.53 to fix.The next day I took it to an honest mechanic who charged me $533.26 to fix including an alignment. I felt A-Z used high pressure tactics & wanted to do unnecessary work to pad their bill. I would not recommend A-Z. I was charged the $99.95 for an alignment they did not do.
