I signed up for a 4 day bartending class on October 3rd. As you can see on the website it states the class in *** is 4 days, 2 nights a week, 3 hours a night. Going from 6:00-9:00. When I first showed up to the facility it was just me and one other girl but we thought we were in the wrong place. It didn't help that our Instructor was thirty minutes late and we didn't get a single notification recalling it. We also tried calling the numbers listed to see if we were in the right place, however, it takes an arm and a leg to get the person on the other side to pick up the phone. Finally we received one text back and had class. Our instructor told us that he would be cutting it short and smooshing the first two classes together. That lasted an hour, tops. Our next class we went over the book again for about 45 minutes and called it a day since the instructor "had another job afterwards". The instructor told us we would have the test on the third day and that would wrap up the course. Yet we still haven't touched a single liquor bottle. The other student in my class also feels as if we'd been ripped off and we have been trying to get in contact with the business to see what is going on and if we could get our money back, but like I said before it takes A LOT to get them to call you back. All in all, this is a big scam. I spent a lot of money thinking I would be taking good classes to learn what is needed, but instead I went to listen to someone read from a book I could have printed off the web. If they did not cut our time or days short and actually taught us what they said they would and incorporated more hands-on, this would be a different story. I finally received a call back from one of the numbers I previously called because I left an angry voicemail, which shouldn't be why they called me back, but it was. I asked for a refund back and they said they would, so time will tell.
