It would not allow me to continue without giving a star. So, I bought a 2006 Glastron GX 185 for $12,500. I took the boat out for a test run and everything seemed fine. I purchased the boat and signed a paper saying "bought as is." I take the boat out the following weekend and pull the kids on the tube and I was having trouble turning the boat to the right. I just figured it was the extra weight on the back and did not think anything of it. I take the boat back out and get it off the trailer and my boat will not turn right. I can only get the boat to go left. I called and spoke to *** and told him my issue and he insisted that I hit something. He told me we did a test run and everything was okay. I told him nothing was hit and he told me to bring the boat back and he would take a look at the boat, and he stated "I am not going to eat this!" I take the boat back to get looked at and he tells me that the steering actuator and inner transom plate had been broke. He continued to tell me I had to of hit something and refused fix the problem. He continued to tell me I signed paperwork of boat being as is. I told him I bought the boat on good faith that it was a good working boat. He refused to fix the boat and gave me a contact number for someone that could fix the bout for $2500.
I would not recommend buying a boat from E&R boats unless you want to possibly be scammed. They had terrible costumer service once my boat had issues.

Customer purchased a boat on June 10th 2024 and on or about October 1st brought the boat in leaving it with **** ******** an employee in our service department, a detailer indicating he was experiencing a steering issue. He advised **** that he had hit an obstruction under water and asked if we could inspect the boat to determine the issue. That week we determined that a Steering actuator was damaged/broken indicating a significant impact. We advised ** ***** of the damage and what it would cost to repair. At that time he accused us of selling him a damaged boat; however, the customer was taken on a Lake Test and signing our purchase agreement indicating vessel is sold "AS IS NO WARRANTY" and initialing "Lake Test Approve." In addition to signing and initialing our Purchase Agreement, he signed a document provided to all of our customers entitled "Disclaimer of Warranty".. After leaving the vessel here after being notified of the problem he then sent his wife and Father in Law over on October 21st insisting for us to make the necessary repairs at our expense with *** ***** indicating that she had told him that she did want a boat in the first place. A note worth making is that it was months gone by before indicating a problem in the first place and not bringing the vessel in until after the Holidays.
