In 2023 we had a leak that led to a complete renovation of our kitchen and flooring throughout our home. We hired King’s Custom Creations to do the project. J. **** King owns the business and served as the contractor for the project. The business is licensed and insured and a member of the Better Business Bureau. The project completed in April 2024.

We purchased a vinyl plank floor (LVP) from Don’s Floor Gallery in Edmond, but the floors were installed by **** and his team. We noticed that the floors were beginning to buckle and bubble in places. I contacted **** in January 2025 about the issue. He came over and assessed the situation. He said he believed we had a slab leak. I contacted a licensed plumber who came and did a thorough inspection and found no evidence of a leak.

I then contacted another contractor, Joshua Jones with Anthem Construction, who came out with a restoration team. The restoration team found that the floor was reading high moisture levels throughout the house. Joshua then had a flooring company come in who determined that the floor had been laid incorrectly.

To be thorough, I contacted an independent flooring inspector, **** ***, with Summit Floor Inspection. He performed an inspection determining the floor was incorrectly installed. I sent this report to **** King. He continues to deny any fault despite the report. He also claims that the warranty for the work is 1 year and is claiming that the year window would have expired in November. The project was not completed until April 2024.

I hired **** of Kings custom creations to build an exterior wall for my garage conversion. The wall began to leak at the concrete footer after he was paid $2800 In the description of the job to be performed the footer was supposed to divert water. A water barrier was also to be included. After the leak was discovered coming from the newly built wall/footer. He has stated a drainage system needs to be installed to prevent leaking. He mentioned the siding will rot from water damage if nothing is done. None of this was advised prior to the jobs completion. After 5 separate attempts to seal the leak. I terminated future business with the company. The owner refuses to refund any amount of cash or turn over insurance and bond information. A second contractor quoted me $5000 to take down the wall, footer and rebuild with a stim wall that Kings didn't place.Part of the quote was for a footer to divert water and a water barrier. The footer is leaking because he poured concrete onto concrete.Concrete doesn't adhere well to concrete and allows water to seep in. There should have been a stim wall and footer. Where did the water barrier in the quote even go?Water is coming under and through the wall we hired him to build for our garage conversion.

****** got a hold of my company about converting a garage space to a living space. I originally ran the estimate at $5400. ****** told me they were on limited funds and asked if I would take payments. I told him we dont do that but I would try and work with his budget. He said they had $3000 for the project and I told him I would do what we could.
he told me that the driveway tends to pool with water when it rains and he had plans for a drain to be put in the yard.  I told him we would put a footer at the base of the wall to try and prevent the water from getting in. He later called saying water was still getting in. I attempted to seal the concrete with silicone but to no avail. I later say the amount of water that would actually pool and told him the only way to prevent water from entering would be to put a drain in the driveway. He didnt want to do that as it wasnt in the budget. He consistently demanded more work be done but didnt want to pay anything additional.
he was sent pictures of ideas for siding, chose one, and dont like it. He wanted it changed, at no cost.
later ****** sent me another contractor quote and said they recommended a drain (just as I did). *** offered countless times to come and try and fix the issue but told him a drain was what was needed. He did not want to do that bc he didnt like the look of the drain. With **** a small budget we did everything we could but at the end of the day his expectations and budget did not line up
