      I reached out to cancel my gym membership at renewal back on January 22, but no reply. I spoke with a man on February 16. He asked me to confirm the email address I had sent the email to. I told him and he said that was correct. He told me the reason I hadn't heard a response about my cancellation was because my email was under Gmail on my account. He fixed it in the system to ***** and told me to re-email with my January email attached. I wanted to make extra sure everything was accurate. I repeated back the email address he asked me to send the email to. I sent that email after the phone call. I never received a response. I called 10gym. I spoke with ****. She confirmed my email and the email I had been sending everything to. She took my information down. She said she made a note in my account so that it would be made aware I had been trying to cancel. Well then I was charged at renewal. I called April 10. Repeated all of the information. **** says she doesn't know why my emails aren't being responded to. **** spoke to ******. He told her to give me the customer service number. This was the 1st time I was given this number. The last 3 times I've called, I was told I had to send the email to cancel. I call and talk to the 1st **** whom says I should have called before renewal to cancel. She says there's nothing she can do. I ask for a manager. I talk to ****, the manager, and explained everything. She spells out the email. I had been putting a "V" where the *** belongs in all of my emails. Every time I called the 10gym in OKC I had spelled it and NO ONE corrected me. Now I am asking for a refund as I have proof that I have done my due diligence to cancel on time. The ladies on the phone were rude, talked over me/didn't address my questions.**** told me to resend my emails and to wait 5-7 days. I expressed concerns about being charged another month and she just repeated herself.

      The gym attendants are friendly, however I have been attempting to cancel my membership since the summer. I came into the gym and brought my account current, as our card had been changed while my husband was traveling. I was told to use the online system to cancel. I went home attempted to login and was unable to use the online system as it would not send a password reset, and did not acknowledge that I had an account. I now, as of December have a letter which provides me a phone number to call, which then requires me to email ************ * **********. com and then there is no immediate confirmation just a note saying they will get back with me. The email address, which is the method to cancel is not posted on 10gyms website. This is intentional, and was deemed to be an unethical business practice by the ************************ (***). As of October there is a new rule in place called "click to cancel" which will require gyms and other business to provide a process that is as simple to cancel as it is to join no more than three clicks deep. Hence if you join online, you have to be able to cancel online. ****** Click-to-Cancel - This ruling makes my heart sing. Hopefully you are reading this before you join, but if not at least you can read it and if it's April of 2025 you have a leg to stand on as this goes into effect six months from October 2024. If you are 10 Gym I suggest you look up the new FTC ruling which provides a fact sheet for consumers. Good luck.

      So back in 2019 I was in a bad car accident , and at the time I was going to physical Therapy , under a lot of medication, I was told by my provider that I need to get a gym membership to help work out my muscle to get back to work I went to ************************************************** up for the wrong plan which was suppose to be the 10 dollar plan and come to find out it was a 12 month plan , tried to explain this to there collection agency and the lady was mad rude disrespectful, and no understanding only she want to do is tell me what I should have done no what yall need to do is train yall employees better and not scamming people into annual gym membership.. GUYS LISTEN UP NEVER EVER EVER GO TO THIS GYM THERE PEOPLE ARE DISRESPECTFUL AND LIERS AND NOW I HAVE TO PAY 317 dollars because one of there employees ** going to contact my lawyer and fight this

      I tried to cancel apparently it didnt happen even though I was told it was and got charged. I immediately called after noticing and was told a refund was not possible and they should really charge me next month too. I told the girl at corporate I would be posting a review and she said Well I dont have to waive next month like is that a threat? Are you saying if I post a bad review youre not gonna waive next month even though I had already tried to cancel previously anyways ? Its not my fault it wasnt noted. That to me sounded like a very unprofessional threat and thats not okay. I guess Im out $33 for a month that Im not going to the gym for so beware. They will threaten to charge you additional months if you tell them youre gonna give them a bad review. Hopefully they dont charge me anymore or try to retaliate over this review.

      I go to the 10 gym at 91st and Aspen in Broken Arrow, and have noticed that it is extremely hot every time I go which makes the workout almost unbearable, especially as hot as it has been it would be nice if they would turn down the A/C!!!!

      It took me several minutes to sign the 1-year personal training agreement with Lighthouse Fitness located at South OKC 10 Gym. First, I fully appreciate the work and encouragement of my assigned trainer! Everything was good until I received and accepted an unexpected, out-of-state job offer. I notified the company as soon I decided to take the job (the end of June) and requested contract cancellation. According to the agreement, I needed to provide my updated ID with my new address on it and the lease or mortgage documents for my new apartment/house--BOTH within 30 DAYS. Otherwise, there is an early termination (ET) fee of $1036.80 for me, plus, the last monthly payment ($480). For two months of personal training, I have already paid, $2,525.80. I have been notified by Lighthouse Fitness and affiliate 10GYM, that I will be charged an additional $480 for August for a total a amount of $3,005.80. I was also notified that the company would WAIVE the last charge of $480 if I would change my rating/review of the company from 2 stars to 4. 10Gym customer service replied my review on Yelp the first time but nothing happened then.
