I purchased something from a company in California and they used this company to ship it to me. So while it’s supposedly in transit it gets put on hold for a “insurance fee of $200 that is refundable upon delivery. Never had to do it before but I paid it and now it’s supposedly on hold for something called custom stamps. They want me to pay another $200. I’ve ordered plenty of stuff from California and never even heard of either of these things before and now they won’t respond much less give me a refund. So I’m out $427 total for a package that should’ve been here 2 weeks ago. I would really love to get a refund for the insurance fee at least if they won’t deliver the package without me paying another $200

I made a purchase from a company named Tacticoolammoshop on 11/21/23. They in turn sent the package to a company named Global Freight Shipping Center for shipment. Approximately 3 days ago I got a notification from the shipping company that I had to pay an insurance fee of 500 dollars. They claim that its 100% refundable upon package delivery. Today 12/1/23 I get another notification from the shipping company wanting an additional 300 dollars for customs stamps claiming that his too s refundable upon package delivery. I feel the company is trying to take advantage of me. No one at any time ever mentioned any of these fees until 3 days ago. Not from the vendor company or the shipping company until 3 days ago.

The persons name I was given for tacticoolammoshop was Carleano, email address ************************ The person with Global Freight Shipping Center was ***************************, email address is ************************* who received the ****** dollars. The live chat person with whom communicated the emails to me was some one named *****. These transactions went through Zelle.
