***** Putnam asked for all my court records, texts, dates etc (10 years worth) for child custody, which I gave him. He then needed to drop me as a client and will not return my personal property

This client is mistaken. As we've told her on the phone when she called, she is welcome to come to the office any time to pick up her files. We are not withholding them or refusing to return them.

However, we will not mail them because she has a fairly significant outstanding balance with us so we will not incur any further postage costs, which would force us into further financial losses due to her not paying her balance as agreed in the Representation Agreement she signed upon hiring us.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me, provided he keeps his word. He's not telling it correctly but he's the lawyer, right. Waiting to receive call back from last week to pick up papers now.

    Sincerely,

I addressed you the other day about Putnam Law Office not returning my papers. He gave me about 3 yrs worth when I have over ten.

He also charged me for him withdrawing from my case.

And *****, I didn't see anything about a charge filed on me until you all told me, please don't try to make me look dumb. I wasn't the cause I don't have my son, you lawyers jerking people around are.

2 yrs and ***** dollars. For what I got out of it I got robbed and a child is living in a very bad situation.

I had recently opened a case and thought it to be resolved. When I went to get my paperwork rather than the whole 10 years worth I handed them, I got just a few things back. Not the first note for him. I don't think it fair for me to have to run around getting all this again, in 2 years time and total of close to ***** dollars, of which he's charged me for the filing court costs for his hearing. I'm not accusing but seems to me they discarded the rest of them. I want my papers back!

We have given this person everything of which we have copies. She is not entitled to internal notes or copies of pleadings that are available on OSCN. However, we have given her all copies of items such as emails, out-of-state pleadings, and notes from her prior attorneys that she gave us. We have no idea what else she believes we are holding. If she can be more clear in what she's requesting, we'll be happy to assist.

    Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because: I gave him all the way back to my first divorce decree and I am entitled to all notes that this lawyer made. You overcharged me as well for very little work.

    Sincerely,
