The contract to fix our home's foundation was entered into on September 24, 2021. The ************************************ installed four (4) piers under the foundation on the north-west corner of the house. They installed another four (4) piers under the foundation on the south-west corner of the house. Leaving a gap in the middle. That middle continues to sag, or dip by about one (1") inch. Soon after the initial installation, in September 2021, I called the office to speak with the salesman, ***** *******, to let him know that several of the doors were not closing. Out of seven (7) doors on the west side of the house where RamJack/American leveling focused their repair efforts, six (6) of them don't shut. Mr. ******* came to the house to look at the doors and casually said, "that is not a foundation issue, and left. I relied on their statements that indicated they have 30+ years experience, and in that time they should have come across all kinds of foundation issues. I called another foundation company to come assess my foundation issues, without telling them that another company had already installed piers. The other foundation company made very accurate measurements and determined the doors were not shutting because not only the foundation wall in the center of the west side was lower by one (1") inch, but there was not support for the west hallway floor. Basically floating. I wrote several registered letters to Mr. **** ********, CEO, ***, ***, of the company. He and his crew came to walk around the house a couple of more times. Mr. ********** solution for the doors that don't shut was for us to "sand them down." And his solution for the wall that sags/dips was for us to hire a structural engineer. Mr. ******** nor his company backed their claim for a "lifetime warranty," or offered to install additional piers, without any additional cost to me. They claimed they had fixed my foundation issues and I had paid them for that. Im left with a bad foun

We installed piers on the exterior foundation10/08/21,in the only areas that showed visible signs of settlement. The homeowner said (6) doors on the west side would not close after we piered the exterior perimeter foundation. These interior doors could not have been affected by the installation of exterior piers that were needed to support the failing exterior perimeter footing. Steel piers are designed to stabilize and support the settling foundation by transferring the weight of the structure to load bearing strata AKA stable soil and are designed to span an area of 5-8 feet on the exterior and a smaller distance on the interior (if/when interior piers are recommended). It is impossible that the installation of exterior piers would cause the interior doors to not shut". During each on-site visit from our company and in the letters we have received we have been asked to do additional work, at no additional cost to them. Another foundation company evaluated the current condition of the home (3) years after we installed the piers. The expansive **** soils in ******** below grade can change within a weather season due to the constant shrink swell cycles, to claim The other foundation company determined the doors were not shutting because, there was not support for the west hallway floor, basically floating is inaccurate. We have tried to find a mutual agreement to resolve this matter to no avail. The homeowners have a warranty (see attachment) that provides free adjustment if/when needed. In said warranty the Design Exclusion specifically states This repair is not intended to be, nor is it possible for it to be, an all-inclusive fix.  We will not add additional piers at no cost in the areas that have settled since the initial work was completed 10/08/2021,nor will we perform any work based on what another foundation repair company has recommend.
