Both my wife and I purchased hearing aids from "Hear Again Lab" at ********************************** ***, ** inside of 90 days ago. (Approximately the middle of July 2023). Paid cash for the aids plus an additional two-year warranty on her special CROS brand hearing aids. The price was nearly $5000. Following the initial adjustment of the new hearing aids, they set her up with a 90-day return for follow-up and adjustments. We returned for her appointment only to find that "Hear Again Lab" was closed, Their lobby was empty, no note on the door where maybe they had relocated, absolutely nothing. As a customer, we were virtually left out in the cold! Opened their page on ****** and discovered other individuals who had encountered the same situation, The dates on other individual's postings were dated back to August 2023. Thus, when we were in Hear Again Lab making our purchases in July, evidently they knew they were closing in August with no notice or follow-up to customers who were making purchases at that time. My question to all this is: 1) Who can we follow up with to have my wife's new CROS Hearing Aids adjusted, repaired, and cleaned? 2) Is the warranty we purchased through CROS or is it only with Hear Again Lab? 3) If the warranty is through Hear Again Lab only, what direction do we take to recover our Warranty cost? 4) We would like to have our records which are on file with Hear Again Lab. Or are we like their other clients, just plain old "out of luck"? It's not right for cutomers/clients to be treated like they have bailed out on their promises.
