    Paid $8k for supplies May 2022. Told numerous time he was coming and never showed. Wouldnt hear from here for week. October 2022 stated he was coming then no communication since. Its now December 2022.

    I hired John ****** to some landscaping and drainage work. I read many positive reviews. I wish I could say my experience was positive. It was not. He came to my house and gave me a proposal. He estimated starting the first of June but he needed money to pay for the river rock and flagstone. Sounded reasonable to me. I knew not to pay the full amount until the job was done but I trusted him on the flagstone and river rocks. I made a big mistake and gave him what he asked for $1,500.00. He would tell me he was on his way and not show up repeatedly always an excuse. He eventually showed up a couple of times enough to dig up my yard including existing french drains and just left the holes in my yard. The river rock and flag stone was never delivered. After he tore up my yard he never returned. I have had to hire another company to come in and repair my french drains. I am so angry at myself for trusting him and believing the positive reviews. I am a widowed older female and I feel like I was taken advantage of. It is so difficult to for me to trust people when I need work done and this is why. I understand it’s my fault I paid for part of the work to be done upfront. I’m pretty sure I have learned my from my mistake.
