    On 01/09/2025 I made an online appointment for an eye consultation, I paid a fully refundable $50 deposit to hold that appointment. Within 10 minutes a representative from Clearsight called and we determined that their services would not work for me. The appointment was cancelled and the representative stated the $50 charge would be removed. At that time it was showing pending on my credit card. I called Clearsight about 3 weeks later when I saw the charge had been processed and no refund had been applied. The gentleman on the phone said he showed it refunded on his end and notified billing that it had not gone through. He said someone from billing would call me back and get it taken care of. A week later I have not recieved a call or a credit. I called today and got an answering service who stated no one was available to take my call.I don't know if this is due to incompetence or simply a way to make money by hoping people forget about the charge but I would like my money refunded as they stated would happen.

    We have contacted our patient and have refunded the $50.00 deposit. Our team member did think that it was originally refunded the day the payment was made by the patient, however due to a software problem, the refund did not process on through to the patient's credit card.  Once we researched the issue, we processed the refund again and followed up with the patient to make sure he did in fact receive the $50 refund. We have apologized to the patient, as we understand how frustrating this must have been for him.
